Thai Spice Love and prestige meet to blend in the Holiday weekend
Valentine’s day in Las Vegas for 2014 is going to become one of the more celebrated Saint Valentine’s Day in modern memory. It’s a very special occasion this year since “The day of Romance” as we call it falls on Friday, also the most sought after, and lust for, day of the week. Adding to the celebration especially in the United States, will be Presidents day on Monday the 17th, the culmination of a great three day weekend. Its going to be a lust filled weekend where lovers lust and would be politicians are reminded of their lust for the office.
The feast of Saint Valentine as it was known back in the 5th Century when the celebrations were first started is observed every year on February 14th. Named after a Christian martyr, Valentinus, who was imprisoned for teaching Christianity in the Roman Empire, and subsequently executed, not before healing the daughter of the jail warden, and right before giving her a Love letter, signed “Your Valentine”. This legend gave birth to Valentine being a farewell letter to love ones, even though in religious circles it became a feast day in the Lutheran Church. During the 12th Century, the expression of admiration and erotic desire, usually between two forbidden lovers, was practiced between the nobility in Europe. The celebration, as we know it today was not truly associated with appropriate Love and romance until the dawn of the 1800’s in England, when lovers started to express their love for one another by presenting flowers, along with sweet foods, and written greeting cards to be known as ”Valentines”.
A Valentines Day dinner in Las Vegas is the more appropriate and practiced romantic celebration today between two lovers, along with certain traditions. Presenting fresh cut flowers or a rose has made it through the test of time, and Chocolates has replaced sweet food or candy nowadays, along with the mass produced Hallmark Valentine Card, which has replaced the written love letter.
Valentine’s Day dining has also evolved over the years with more and more couples choosing the exotic cuisines of Thailand as their venue for the start of the romantic evening. The richness of the food along with the spice, and herbs creates an atmosphere of lust, and desire, reminisce of the origin of the holiday. Thai food is a great start to a wonderful Valentine’s day celebration. The numerous Herbs, Spices and tropical ingredients inherent to the cuisine is a great source for vitamins and antioxidant activity necessary to sustaining a healthy life. Not only does good Thai food in Las Vegas taste great, but every bite taken of the Thai Spice naturally signals the body to release endorphins, which acts as neurotransmitters, which in turn produces chemicals in the human brain resulting in a feeling of ecstasy and nirvana, the same feelings usually associated with taking illegal narcotics. It is for this reason, that you would see people ordering Thai food at the highest spice level possible, yet you see that their forehead is sweating profusely, for some it is the closest substance that they can legally consume to become high.
The Spicy Thai food dish example would be the Best Pork Panang Curry in Las Vegas, number 533 on the menu, ordering at a spicy level of 9 or “Burning Hot” contains plenty of fresh chili peppers, Turmeric, Garlic, Basil herbs, and coconut milk, which is a good source of selenium, zinc, calcium, iron, and manganese. Coconut milk also contains the antiviral, antiprotozoal, antibacterial properties of Lauric acid, which the body uses to make Monolaurin, which several doctors believe disintegrates viruses, measles, herpes, cytomegalovirus, influenza, and pneumonia in the human body.
