Local High School graduates start their graduation party with Friends and Family at their favorite Thai Restaurant in Las Vegas. When asked by her parents, “Where you would like to have your graduation dinner? , Selam a recent High School Graduate shouts without hesitation, “We’re going to “Kung Fu”.

Graduation ceremonies for most of the Clark County School district High Schools are held just half a mile away towards the southwest part of the Las Vegas valley at the Orleans Hotel Arena, which started last Monday for all but a few smaller High schools that was able to hold their graduation on campus. Ceremonies for the remainder are held at The Thomas & Mack Center, which is a couple of miles to the South east of the restaurant, on the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) main campus, with the exception of the West Prep school ceremonies being held at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Las Vegas. Ceremonies are scheduled to continue onto next week for the rest of the High Schools.
