The addition of two new Lunch Special Options brings a new found Love to Las Vegas’s oldest and most authentically traditional Thai restaurants in Las Vegas.
Starting in May 2012, Las Vegas’s authentic Thai restaurant since 1973, added a couple of great dishes to its Lunch Special.
Already a local’s favorite Lunch stop at a reasonable $ 5.95, for a few years, Kung Fu Thai & Chinese Lunch Specials actually started out at only $ 3.99 in the early 1990’s. With just eight main dishes, the Chef chose the most sought after entrée’s and put them all together with a cup of freshly prepared egg drop soup, a piece of fresh wrapped all vegetable Spring Egg Rolls, and a piece of crispy lightly marinated Chicken Wing, Thai Style of course. Included with all that, guests would also be able to choose from the most popular Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Chopped Chicken with Chilies and Mints, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Chicken Curry, Pad Thai, Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables, and the venerable Chicken Panang Curry.
Over the years as the Chef added more and more tantalizing Thai and Chinese culinary specials to the menu, loyal patrons began to take notice. After numerous requests the Chef decided to improve the Las Vegas Lunch Specials offering with the addition of two of the most intriguing dishes which serves to complement the rest of the famous dishes on our Specials. Orange Chicken becomes the ninth dish, followed by Chicken Chow Mein. Made with fresh squeezed orange juice, with slices of fresh chicken that’s lightly breaded and deep fried in a 100% Vegetable oil that contains (zero) no trans-fat, by using only the best ingredients, the Orange Chicken has quickly become one of the most ordered dishes here at Kung Fu Thai & Chinese Restaurant. With the traditional Chow Mein as the tenth option on the list, Patrons can now choose between a Thai style noodle house dish, The “Pad Thai”, or a Chinese noodle dish, the “Chow Mein”.
With the Pad Thai being the national dish of Thailand, We here at Kung Fu Restaurant take great pride in being able to offer this dish as one of the Lunch Specials. Being the most famous and most recognized Chinese noodle dish in America, the Chicken Chow Mein is made using gourmet premium egg noodles, fresh chicken slices along with baby Bok Choy, Green Cabbage, Celeries, and fresh Bean Sprouts, along with diced carrots.
With increasing food cost, the management had no choice but to reluctantly increase the price of its Specials 30¢ to $6.25, which is still considered by many to be a very good value for that Power Lunch in Las Vegas. By keeping prices low, and service fast, our endeavor to make Kung Fu Thai & Chinese the Best Las Vegas Lunch Spot is quickly catching on.
